Goat
A local personal AI for chat and coding workflows.
On this page
goat is a single-user, single-host personal AI with two connected capabilities:
- Agent lives on your chat channels, keeps long-term memory, runs scheduled work, and delegates coding tasks.
- Code is a terminal coding agent with a full-screen interface backed by a resident daemon.
Both capabilities use one binary, one daemon, and one local database. Data stays under ~/.goat/.
